Covid Practice Policy: News

Covid-19 Practice Policy

Dear client,

Please find below the details of measures I will action and additional steps I will be asking clients to agree to with a goal of enabling the therapy space to remain a Covid-19 safe space. We already adhere to a very high standard of hygienic practice, however there are additional health and safety measures to keep the treatment rooms as safe as possible. These will remain in place where Covid-19 is still considered a risk to health.

On Arrival

Please arrive at the appointment time and unaccompanied.

Please wash or sanitise your hands on arrival.

Enhanced hygiene measures

All surfaces such as door handles, table, massage couch and card reader will be sanitised between each client.

Disposable biodegradable couch roll will be used as before

Essential oils with cleansing properties will be in the diffusers

We will regularly ventilate the treatment room and waiting area.

As always, therapists wash their hands before and after every session.

Health

If you are displaying any symptoms of the covid-19 symptoms, have had in the past 14 days or have been in contact with anyone displaying any symptoms please get in touch before your appointment and we will defer your treatment for the appropriate period of time advised.  Our 24-hour cancellation fee policy is exempt in any cases relating to Covid-19 typical symptoms however we still ask that you kindly let us know as soon as possible regarding any need to rearrange sessions.

If the therapist, or anyone they are in close contact with has any symptoms relating to Covid-19, we will cancel clients immediately for the relevant time period.

Face coverings

Guidance on face coverings in this setting has been reinstated by the government on 30/11/21. We are however aware of the exemptions regarding masks and welcome all.

Maintaining social distancing

Please note that whilst many treatments do involve close contact, we will be observing social distancing measures in line with government guidelines wherever possible. This might include, for example, maintaining an appropriate distance during the consultation process, and when arriving and leaving for an appointment.

Treatment restrictions and adaptations

Some treatments may be adapted or postponed where necessary according to current guidelines.

If you are considered vulnerable or live with someone who is, please get in touch prior to making a booking to discuss whether we are able to treat you at this time on: info@tinadisley.com

Covid -19 Treatment declaration form

We will ask you to complete an additional health declaration form prior to your appointment, confirming you are safe to have a treatment.

Covid-19 Risk Assessment

I have carried out a full risk assessment, in line with guidance from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) in order to make our practice Covid secure:

Identify work activity or situations which pose a risk of transmitting Covid-19

Consider who could be at risk

Consider how likely it is that someone could be exposed

Remove the activity or situation, or if this is not possible, put measures in place to control the risk.

Online/telephone consultations

Online and telephone consultations are available for Homeopathy clients.

If you would like any further information or have any queries about your treatment, please do not hesitate to get in touch on: info@tinadisley.com

Warm wishes

Tina
