What is Veganism?

Vegan versus Plant based
Plant based generally refers to foods which don't contain animal ingredients and generally refers to the diet itself rather than extending to a particular lifestyle.
Vegan generally refers to a lifestyle of avoiding animal products in all areas including food, clothing, cosmetics and avoiding using animals for entertainment purposes such as sports.

Hello I'm Tina (and Milo!)
I was a vegetarian for 25 years before transitioning to a plant based diet and I found the switch so freeing. It wasn't without it's challenges and that's one of the reasons I'm so happy to be able to share my experiences with you in the Vegan Coaching sessions. I work in an inclusive non-judgmental way, offering you support every step of the way.
There are many reasons for switching to a plant based diet, maybe for your health, for the environment or for ethical reasons and whichever that is I will guide you along the way.
For me, the choice was always motivated by the animals and later on the whole package which comes with living a lifestyle, more in tune with nature. I grew up with animals at home and my love of horses meant my time was spent at a local riding school. As well as horses, they kept pigs and turkeys for meat. One Christmas time, aged 9, I witnessed the turkeys being dragged through the yard to be butchered. Seeing their fate was shocking to me and needless to say I never ate turkey again. Later, aged 11, I met a fellow volunteer at an event who was vegetarian who became my inspiration. I came home and immediately announced to my mum that I was now vegetarian! She found it amusing, as I barely ate vegetables at the time, but my mind was made up and I've never looked back.
Whether you need a gradual plant based diet transition or are ready for a complete switch to veganism, I'm here to support you along the way. You'll feel motivated and empowered to take the first step and keep on going :)

VEGAN HOUR - 1 hour Vegan Lifestyle Coaching £60
Are you feeling a bit lost with your vegan/plant based journey? Would you like an hour to ask questions, get new ideas or put some fun back into your vegan journey?
A Power Hour is fantastic if you don’t have the time or money to invest in ongoing coaching, but you do have a few questions or a specific area of your diet or lifestyle you’d like to focus on.
This is an hours session where you can bring along any questions regarding vegan health and lifestyle. You may already be mostly vegan but need some support and ideas to stay on track. You may want to use the session to get advice on making your diet more healthy. Following the session you'll also have access to email support from me for 7 days.

VEGAN VITALITY - 6 weeks Vegan Lifestyle Coaching £230
If you're looking to transition to a plant based diet and don't know where to start this is for you. I'll give you inspiration on how to make it work for you with health and wellbeing at the heart of the sessions. Sessions are scheduled weekly.
We'll meet for weekly sessions where you can bring along any questions, areas where you need extra support and I'll help you to find solutions. You may already be mostly vegan but need some support and ideas to stay on track or it may be completely new to you. Either way I'll help signpost you to everything you need to make an easy transition. You'll also have access to email support from me during and for 7 days following the programme.
Whats included:
* 1 x one hour session in-person or Online
* 5 x 30 minute session online/call
* Weekly email with motivational tips and recipes
* 6 weeks email support in-between sessions

VEGAN LIFE - 12 week Vegan coaching £450
If you're looking to transition to a more plant based diet and don't know where to start this is for you. I'll give you inspiration on how to make it work for you with health and wellbeing at the heart of the sessions. recent studies suggest it takes 2.5 months to change a habit, this 12 week programme with support you through that change.
We'll meet for weekly sessions where you can bring along any questions, areas where you need extra support and I'll help you to find solutions. You may already be mostly vegan but need some support and ideas to stay on track or it may be completely new to you. Either way I'll help signpost you to everything you need to make an easy transition. You'll also have access to email support from me for 7 days following the programme.

What's included in the session?
We'll talk through any areas where you need support or inspiration on your vegan/plant based journey. Discover new ways of making the journey easy with simple swaps and support.
What do we talk about?
The sessions are tailored to your needs, we'll cover a range of topics to support your transition to veganism/plant based eating, shopping advice, recipe tips, health advice and diet and nutrition.
How many sessions will I need?
It's really up to you how much support you would find helpful although a minimum of 6 weeks sessions is generally ideal to keep you on track. For longer term support the 12 week package is ideal.
How often are the sessions?
The package sessions are scheduled weekly.
How long is the session?
The first session is 60 minutes and following sessions are 30 minutes.
